Community Involvement

Supporting our local communities is an important strategic goal at uVium. We believe that we must do more than simply respond to the demands of the marketplace. We take seriously our responsibility to respond to the broader needs and concerns of the communities in which we live. To realize our commitment to this social responsibility, our Corporate Citizenship Program consists of diverse yet carefully focused priorities that help uVium serve as a good neighbor and enhance the quality of life in our communities, while carrying out our business objectives.

Our Focus:

Our support focuses on three principal areas which impact key community needs. These areas are:

Seniors - uVium cares teaching seniors how to stay in touch with their family through emails and using online social networking communities. We believe educating seniors will improve overall self-efficacy, strengthen family ties, and memory by learning these new skills.

Business Owners - uVium recently partnered with Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce to pioneer the Miami Beach Technology Council (MBTC) to educate businesses on how to use Internet Technology to streamline operations, effectively market products and services, all while providing value to their clients and business partners.

Youth - uVium is committed to supporting the education of high school students to understand the power of internet technology. We focus on education programs that offer creative approaches to show how businesses are using the internet to promote their companies and encourage them how the skill sets they are learning at school and what they know about the internet may be applied towards establishing a career.
